What’s will be going on in 2013 in Playstation world? Ok, firstly i welcome all of you in New Year 2 0 1 3 and let this year will be good and funny and lucky. Read this.
1. On 8 january will start CES 2013, Ned Nomura, president of Sony Hawaii said: that during the January Consumer Electronics Show to be held between 8 and 11 January Sony announced several new devices, and present a few of new technologies, including going to be something related to the Playstation! Sony i will present something from Playstation World, maybe little official information about their new next generation console, if not, we will be waiting.
2. Spring, blooming flowers, growing life and maybe blooming official Playstation 4 information. We know that from rumors, before E3 2013 Sony for 99% will present Playstation 4. This may happen between the end of may and middle of june.
3. Sony must present Playstation 4 before E3 because many new games will be presented at the show, and the games will be aimed at the next generation consoles. So, we will see PS4 on middle of the year for sure.
4. Playstation 4 will show in shops on september – december 2013 (in japan for sure) and maybe in 2014, i don’t know, but i feel 2013 as a year of new generation consoles. So, PS4 in shops at the end of 2013, we will pray for this.
5. Name of the new Sony game system? Of course they still use a Playstation name, but what’s next? 4? Four in japan has a bad luck number but in EU and USA and other world not. Playstation 4 seems to be the best name from a marketing point of view, but new console may also be called differently like Orbis or Omni, for now we still use a Playstation 4 name.
6. Hardware in playstation 4? CPU and GPU (maybe APU, integrated two chipset in one) will be will be prepared by amd but this is not official info. Maybe Sony has continued Cell processor technology. Memory (RAM) in playstation 4 will oscillated between 2-4GB, and maybe 1GB or 2GB on GPU. The console will be equipped with an optical drive Blu-ray or some other format, we know that the game probably will not be supported in 4K. So far, blu-ray format does not support 4K or perhaps Sony 4K movies will distribute in other media or over the network. Playstation controller (I do not believe that Sony was going to use the 3D glasses as controller) and look of PS4 is still a mystery to us.
7. Price of playstation 4, between 300 USD and 500 USD, Sony has cut the costs because corporation has a major problem with money. Playstation 4 will cost little more of Wii U and maybe Xbox 720.
8. Games and launch titles? I belive this is Watch Dogs, Star Wars 1313, Killzone 4, maybe Battlefield 4, new NFS and few new title. Watch Dogs and Star Wars 1313 for sure has designed to Playstation 4. Ups! i forgot, Final Fantasy Versus XIII and MGS5 too :) of course not as launch title.
9. Appearance of games on Playstation 4. Games will look good, very good, better than the PS3 but is unlikely to be the technological revolution. Games will support 1080p at 60FPS, not 4K, but the end is not known. There will be no technological leap for financial reasons. Games will not look like pre rendered movies, CGI or Hollywood computer effects.
