Sony has patented a hybrid controller which resembles the old, honest Dual Shock which can be split into two separate controllers that resemble the PS Move on Playstation 3. The patent was published here available here as a PDF and calls it a “hybrid separable motion controller” and is assigned to SCEA, so it’s definitely intended for Sony.

The controller is at first glance very interesting because it retains the original and convenient Dual Shock design and by the way includes two PS Move controllers, the profit from this that the same controller will contain just two in one so you will save some space on the table for TV.

Is Dual Shock will be replaced by this or similar controller only time will tell, Sony certainly will try to surprise the market and the fans something and prepare for us an improved version of the old controller Dual Shock, it must do something, because the Nintendo show on Wii U that the controller can be innovative.
You like the design of this controller or not?
